Saturday the 30th of January
and we’ll be looking fer you!

Come celebrate the Gasparilla Invasion as we enter Hillsborough Bay in the tall-masted Jose Gasparilla pirate ship (she’s a beauty), with cannons a-boomin’ and flags unfurled.

Join us for the Gasparilla Invasion Brunch, when we’ll dock at the Tampa Convention Center fer a hearty meal befittin’ a hungry band o’ buccaneers!

Fill yer pockets with the beads ‘n’ treasures we’ll be throwin’ as we wind our merry way down Bayshore Boulevard in the lively, colorful Parade of the Pirates.

Dance in the streets with me ‘n’ my mateys to live music at the Pirate Fest Street Festival.

So, scuttle yer other plans ‘n’ be prepared to come party with us. If ye don’t join in the festivities, it may be the plank for you! Arrrrrgh!

With the City defenseless, the scene is set for the colorful and festive Gasparilla Pirate Fest scheduled for January 30, 2010. The Gasparilla Pirate Fest includes the historic Gasparilla Invasion and Parade of the Pirates presented by Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla.

Gasparilla Preschooler's Stroll

In 2005, the Gasparilla Extravaganza launched its newest tradition – the Gasparilla Preschooler’s Stroll! The Gasparilla Preschooler’s Stroll, was designed to give children five and under an opportunity to experience parade-style fun in a venue that is conducive for the youngest of pirates!

The Stroll is only ½ mile along Bayshore Blvd., from Bay to Bay Blvd. to Howard Ave. The costumed participants are given time to strut their stuff down Bayshore in piratical preschool style – in a decorated wagon or stroller, or on a festive tricycle or bicycle!

The Gasparilla Preschooler's Stroll is open to the public.  Participants must be in pirate-themed attire and must be accompanied by an adult.  Motorized vehicles of any sort are NOT permitted in the Gasparilla Preschooler’s Stroll.  You can download the registration form on the Parade Application page. Registrations must be received in the EventFest office by January 8, 2010. In order for EventFest to plan the appropriate space needed for staging, you must register your preschooler.  There will be NO WALK-UPS ADMITTED into the 2010 Gasparilla Preschooler’s Stroll the day of the Event.
Seminole Hard Rock Gasparilla Pirate Fest

The Gasparilla Air Invasion is an annual component of the Gasparilla Extravaganza, occurring between the Preschooler’s Stroll and the Children’s Gasparilla Parade.

Saturday, January 23, 2010
3:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Features a precision parachute jump from the
United States Special Operations Command Jump Team.
